We're looking for someone with an established record of sales leadership and revenue generation with a deep interest and passion for online media, music and innovation. You will oversee our EMEA Advertising efforts and lead a team of consultative sales leaders. We want someone who has a passion for working with clients, developing relationships externally and internally, is well versed in public speaking and able to engage within the regions this role leads.

What You'll Do

  • In collaboration with the Head of Global Sales & Partnerships, as well as the country Heads of Sales, define the sales growth strategy across the EMEA markets
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to set accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and goals for the sales team
  • Analyze, validate, and update performance to improve growth
  • Engage and encourage teams across the regions by driving development and growth in our people
  • Work with the Heads of Sales to ensure that you meet and exceed revenue targets for the region
  • Partner with Business Marketing for client events, social engagements, and sponsorships based on local market dynamics and broad business knowledge
  • Represent the Spotify Brand at client/agency summits through public speaking, panel moderation, and keynotes within the region
  • Engage with key clients on a senior level, and deliver outstanding consultative customer service
  • Develop standard methodologies and demonstrate cost efficiencies that can scale from local to global
  • Maintain high levels of communication and transparency with management, cross-functional teams, and business partners internally and externally

Who You Are

  • Key Skill: You have platform experience with extensive understanding and knowledge of selling automated solutions via Self-Service platforms or Programmatic
  • Key Skill: You have experience working with CRM tools such as Salesforce and partner with Sales Operations for maintaining consistent metrics on the health & performance of the region, partners, and people
  • You have extensive experience in advertising / marketing sales experience
  • You are highly motivated, organised, and entrepreneurial
  • You recognise the value in working as a team
  • You are energetic and willing to thrive in a high growth organisation
  • You have strong Agency & Brand relationships in at least one of the key markets in the region
  • You have great communication, problem solving and negotiating skills
  • You strategically use data and insights to inform client investment strategy
  • You effectively position Spotify's ad solutions through creative storytelling
  • You have a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and trends around digital, programmatic, video best practices, opportunities, and challenges.
  • You have an understanding and expertise in account planning, strategic planning, and media buying within digital, video, & audio environment
  • You come with an existing network of senior level contacts in media and marketing
  • You have deep leadership experience and management skills and have experience leading larger teams

Where You'll Be

  • This role will be based out of London, UK. For this role there will be in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come into the London office.
