Position Objective
The Scheduler II plans and coordinates production schedules. Provides manufacturing operations with a plan that maximizes efficiency, resources, and capacity.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain, input, and communicate an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for all assigned projects.
  • Evaluate resource loading in MS Project and provide input to managers to aid balance and staffing.
  • Adjust the schedule to compensate for earned value inputs.
  • Communicate all changes to Program and Engineering Managers, securing approvals and authorizations as required.
  • Monitor and evaluate.
  • Coordinate meetings and telecoms with stakeholders of various programs.
  • Establish and maintain notification rhythm to ensure on time completion of deliverables.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Technical / Business Field or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience
  • 2 to 4 years of scheduling experience within a government defense contractor.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
  • Hands-on knowledge of material resource planning systems software
  • Familiarity with EVM and Pro-Pricer
  • Knowledge of the 14-Point DCMA schedule assessment criteria
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
