Operations Systems and Technology Intern

Sparton is looking for a qualified intern to join our Operations Systems and Technology team. The ideal candidate will need base-level knowledge in programming languages like C#, JavaScript and SQL. Our internship provides an opportunity for students to gain practical experience in system support specific to a manufacturing environment.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Experience with Aegis FactoryLogix applications
  • Experience with Business Intelligence applications
  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio

Responsibilities

  • Assist team with support of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Assist the team with support of custom web applications that interact with the MES
  • Maintain SQL database and utilize data for dashboard reporting
  • Work with Operations to develop supporting systems for manufacturing

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship
  • Familiarity with software development
  • Familiarity with databases
  • Availability to work on-site in DeLeon Spring, FL
