Position Overview:
The Accounting/Finance Intern will assist staff with account reconciliations, including, labor reconciliations and assist with new fixed asset ledger set up.

Learning Outcomes:

Understand the basic flow o financial information collection; utilize standard accounting procedures (GAAP) to compile financial statements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial information
  • Review financial transactions made by the company
  • Accounting ledgers and handle various other financial tasks under the supervision of the accounting staff

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in any special project work or independent analysis

Requirements:
Sparton interns must meet the following criteria:

  • Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work on-site in De Leon Springs, FL
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Mentor: Finance/Account Professional

Travel Requirement: None
