TRANSPORT LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement an inbound receiving schedule for incoming logistics (i.e. freightsaver)
  • Implement a maintenance program schedule, and work with 3rd party maintenance vendors.
  • Implement an outsourcing program using internal drivers to pick-up from local vendors
  • Implement a schedule for internal outbound drivers from site to site (Kent to Redmond, or Redmond to Hawthorne)
  • Write dashboards, and improve on existing dashboards (Python skills)
  • Research on new technologies, and/or improve on current process to make the driver routes more efficient

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or logistics management; OR 2+ years of logistics coordination experience in lieu of a degree

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • CDL license
  • Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution certification (CLTD)
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
  • Contacting vendors and creating relationships

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 50% travel between sites in WA (Redmond, Kent, Woodenville)
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
  • Must be able to lift to 25 lbs. unassisted

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: 

Pay range:    
Level 1: $32.00 - $40.00/hour 
Level 2: $37.00 - $45.00/hour 

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
