Fluid Specialist (Automation & Controls)

Brownsville, TX

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

FLUIDS SPECIALIST (AUTOMATION & CONTROLS)

Starship is the largest and most capable space launch system ever developed. With the capability to deliver in excess of 100 metric tons to Earth’s orbit, it will fundamentally change access to space, and is the technology that will be used to establish a self-sustaining city on Mars. We will ultimately need thousands of Starships to accomplish that feat.

The production fluids team is focused on the design and deployment of critical manufacturing and test infrastructure to validate vehicle systems prior to flight & enable at-rate manufacturing. We are looking for enthusiastic and creative individuals to merge rigorous aerospace design with highly reliability industrial fluid systems. As a fluids specialist, you will be responsible for anything gas / cryogenic in the factory, including: large-scale distribution, gas generation, SCADA monitoring, and cell design.
