Responsibilities
- Manages IT product management activities for moderate to complex sized solutions defining clear outcomes to address business needs.
- Handle step-change transformation efforts requiring process and user experience reimagination or that is more technically challenged to try to experiment with finding a solution.
- Support business case development that is aligned to key features as defined in the product vision and multi-year roadmap.
- Engages with all levels of management and acts as a key consultant for both functional and business issues to support OCM and key messaging for step change transformation as a result of implementing a new solution that has significant changes to people, process and technology.
- Leads the visioning of comprehensive IT product roadmaps and capabilities that can span across OUs, considering long-term goals.
- Fosters collaboration by creating a shared understanding. Empower independent decision-making while keeping the overall vision intact to create step-change transformation across the enterprise.
- Engages in technical strategic discussions with enterprise and domain architects to align architecture and innovation capabilities and products in support of IT strategies
- Leverages clean data practices and employ technology advancements in the AI and Emerging Tech space.
- Leverages vendor and partner ecosystem to SCE's advantage for high impact/High value partnership opportunities at optimal costs.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in project management.
- Experience as a product manager or product owner in software development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Product Manager Certification (A-CSM, PSM II+, etc.)
- 4+ years in the electric utility industry (e.g., T&D, System Planning, Engineering, Customer Service)
- Experience managing senior leadership relationships and communicating progress/opportunities to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Basic understanding of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub) and software development background
- Hands-on with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, HP ALM Octane, Confluence, Aha)
- Identify ongoing innovation opportunities for business development and experience with product/project teams in Mobile, AI/ML, and/or RPA
- Track and measure impact (savings, investment, growth, customer satisfaction)
Additional Information
- This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
