Become a Regulatory Affairs Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will be part of the State Regulatory Operations team at Southern California Edison, primarily responsible for leading portions of its General Rate Case (GRC) and other cost forecast recovery proceedings at the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). This position will develop and implement regulatory strategies for T&D/SPE most critical and complex projects, programs, and issues. This position will also support these efforts by understanding the strategic and tactical impacts of regulatory decisions and effectively advocating SCE's positions to various audiences both internally and externally.\u202f Specifically, this senior advisor will be a strategic partner with stakeholders such as Legal and Finance and effectively communicate/collaborate with OU subject matter experts, witnesses, executives steering teams, and external parties. This includes advising leadership on regulatory risk and considerations for financial, business, and operational decisions, as well as collaborating closely with these organizations to ensure financial data with SCE's GRC is accurate, timely, and consistent between GRCs and other regulatory filings through application, discovery, rebuttal, and hearing phases. This includes influencing and leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with employees at all levels and areas within the company, and engaging with some of SCE's key external stakeholders. This is a highly collaborative and challenging role where you will be exposed to critical elements of the GRC and other company issues. Finally, this senior/principal advisor will help lead its peer GRC team members that will provide daily project management/case management of GRC chapters for their assigned areas.

Responsibilities
- Utilizes ratemaking principles and advises on litigation and evidentiary hearings
- Aligns regulatory positions with overall company business plans, ensuring compliance in all areas
- Works with relevant internal and external legal and regulatory agencies, such as the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), to develop policy and influence strategy
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience developing revenue requirement testimony in cost recovery proceedings.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Science, Engineering, Economics, Law, Finance, Communications or Public Policy.
- 3 or more years of experience supporting testimony development for the general rate case (GRC).
- Experience leading and managing development of risk-informed planning methodology for T&D.
- Experience coordinating with other project teams to ensure adequate functionality, data availability and schedules (risk-informed planning functions and GRC).
- Experience providing direction to junior team members in supporting analysis for GRC.
- Experience providing senior management with information on the financial and operational impacts of existing and proposed, risk-informed strategies, including development and presentation of meeting materials and presentations.
- Experience reviewing historical, pending, and new business processes to identify potential impacts on T&D operations, including recommendations to address the operational impacts.
- Experience identifying, managing, leading, and supporting ad-hoc short-term projects as requested by management.
- Ability to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
- Proficiency with the following software tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Project.
Additional Information
- This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.\u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
