Responsibilities
- Negotiates and enforces customer contracts and contract revisions
- Collaborates with marketing, technical sales, product, and legal to ensure successful execution of new programs and services
- Promotes product development activities to prospective and existing customers and provides customer feedback to product development for continuous improvements
- Maintains up-to-date customer records including customer interactions, profiles, and account management activity
- Manages all day-to-day sales efforts including development, qualification, and execution of sales opportunities through cold-outreach (direct/indirect) and introductions
- Reviews and analyzes performance data as compared to peer set or competitors to gain insight into improvements required
- Maintains and retains existing customers by proactively reaching out to existing accounts on a regular basis
- Maintains ongoing customer relationships using account management principals to ensure customer satisfaction and develop future opportunities
- Develops forecasts for accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets
- Oversees the mass analysis of customer bill impacts resulting from rate changes (i.e., NKAs)
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in account management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience with the following data bases: C4C, SAP, and/or Salesforce.
- Ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Excellent selling, verbal, written and negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Strong phone presence and experience making many customer calls per day.
- Four or more years' experience in the energy industry, utility rates, and/or regulated utility processes.
- Experience integrating work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Experience with Project management.
Additional Information
- This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.\u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
