THE ROLE

As a Junior SEO Audience Growth Associate, you will support the Search Audience Senior Manager in driving search traffic growth for Sotheby’s Luxury Division. You’ll assist in optimizing SEO strategies, creating and refining SEO-focused content, and analyzing performance data to help attract and engage qualified buyers and sellers across key luxury categories. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a renowned brand while further developing your skills in SEO, copywriting, and data-driven marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in keyword position tracking and analysis for luxury categories such as jewelry, watches, fashion, wine & spirits, sports, books, and science & pop culture using tools like SEMrush.
  • Support the development and maintenance of SEO performance dashboards in Adobe Analytics to provide insights into content performance.
  • Help implement SEO strategies to improve search rankings and organic traffic for luxury division landing pages.
  • Collaborate with the content marketing team to create, update, and optimize SEO-driven content aligned with category goals and target keywords.
  • Write and refine engaging, keyword-optimized copy for evergreen content, leveraging AI tools and existing resources.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the luxury market.
  • Support in preparing monthly performance updates and strategic priorities for internal stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about SEO best practices and trends, particularly in the luxury goods and e-commerce space.

You’ll Be Successful If:

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in copywriting, SEO copywriting, or a related role.
  • You have a passion for the luxury industry and an understanding of its dynamics and trends.
  • You are data-driven, detail-oriented, and skilled at translating analytics into actionable insights.
  • You are an effective communicator with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are proactive, adaptable, and collaborative.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, or Adobe Analytics.
  • Proven ability to write compelling, optimized content for digital platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and a willingness to deepen your expertise.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven content tools and their applications in SEO.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and an eagerness to learn and grow in the SEO space.

The proposed base salary for this position ranges from $60,000-$70,000. In addition to base salary successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus, as well as a competitive benefits package. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
