World Electric is hiring a Warehouse Pro to join our team
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Starting Rate: Competitive hourly rate with full benefits package
Job Description: As a World Electric Warehouse associate, you will facilitate moving product throughout the warehouse through the use of equipment in areas such as Receiving, Stocking, Shipping, Order Processing, Wire Cutting, and Replenishment. Your responsibilities will include operating equipment in a safe manner, while making sure that you are maintaining a safe and clean working area and ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers. The responsibilities listed below are encompassing of a General Warehouse Worker but may vary by shift or departmental assignment
- Verify correct quantities and items for all sections.
- Sorts and places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
- Box up and label material.
- Review customer orders and determine the right size reel and right type, size, and color of wire needed to complete the order.
- Measure and cut wire using machinery.
- Restock and replenish wire inventory.
- Construct orders based on delivery area preventing stock from being damaged on delivery.
- Load trucks in correct delivery sequence.
- Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong math and reading skills
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for the full length of your shift
- Positive commitment to accomplish warehouse/company goals
