This position is available for remote work (based in WA), or hybrid work near any North Coast branch in the Puget Sound area

What You Will Do:

  • Promote all SSG offerings to internal teams including Sales and Branch Managers
  • Develop opportunities with Sales teams and outside of assigned accounts
  • Educating customers on our specific solutions
  • iSAM, NASPO, Premier GPO, ESD, EV Charging, Titanium Accounts, NCMC
  • Coordinate with local sales and SC leadership on specific local needs
  • Meet with customers on a regular basis face to face and via Microsoft Teams
  • Travel as necessary to meet the demands of your territory (AK, WA, Northern ID)
  • Work with Internal Teams to successfully bid on Government Opportunities
  • Attend and Host booths at various tradeshows promoting North Coast and our solutions
  • Join and participate in local organizations specific to our customers (ie: WAMOA)
  • Set good expectations between the customer and NC for projects to be successful
  • Manage projects between all parties involved

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong sense of self-motivation/drive
  • Personal computer skills and knowledge of: Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and web navigation
  • Strong communication skills written, verbal, and listening
  • Strong customer service focus (Internal/external customers & Vendors)
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • A willingness to cold call and create new relationships from scratch
  • Ability to adapt and work with interruptions.
  • Previous sales experience and product knowledge in the electrical field is preferred
  • Ability to organize travel to maximize results
  • A willingness to listen with intent to understand so you can tailor your pitch/solution appropriately

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • General office work environment, mainly seated at a desk, heavy phone use
  • Fast paced and ability to multi-task
  • Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
  • Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance

Salary & Compensation:

  • This position is an exempt position and not subject to overtime.
  • Pay is $89,700 to $114,400 annually, DOE.
