Join Sonepar as a Principal Enterprise Systems Architect and play a vital role in driving business growth through expert infrastructure design, implementation, and project management. By aligning technology solutions with business objectives, you'll leverage your industry expertise to fuel the success of Sonepar Management Group and our family of brands.

What you'll do:

  • Design and plan our enterprise infrastructure architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop scalable, secure, high-performance infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, voice, networking, and cloud services.
  • Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, models, and guidelines.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components, ensuring efficient operation and performance.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement infrastructure solutions that support business processes and innovation.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices and policies to protect our data and IT assets, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology investments and initiatives, evaluating and recommending new tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions, providing technical leadership and mentorship.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and present architectural solutions.

What you'll bring:

  • 12+ years of related experience, with a minimum of 7 years in IT infrastructure design and management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, data centers, and Azure Cloud.
  • Proven experience within network architecture, security protocols, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for Sonepar in the United States without employment sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary Range:

  • $140,000 - 155,000 + bonus annually

This is a remote role with 10 % of travel.
