The Pick/Replenishment/Locus Automation Supervisor is responsible for collaborating with RDC leadership to ensure the smooth operation of daily warehouse functions. This includes all activities related to the timely and accurate Picks, Replenishments, and Locus automation for all outbound freight. This role will manage all Picking and Replenishment associates while overseeing the operations of Locus automation and supporting other RDC departments in operations processing and excellence. This role is and exempt position will report directly to Inbound Operations Manager.

What You Will Do:

  • Directly responsible for all Picking, Replenishments, and Locus automation
  • Recommend solutions for enhancing the performance of Locus automation equipment
  • Manage inventory and prepare quarterly reports on the usage of spare parts; take action to requisition new spares to maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with all safety requirements in the workplace
  • Assist with installation, start up, qualification, and troubleshooting activities
  • Work with other departments to improve equipment functionality, throughput, and uptime of equipment
  • Interfaces with Operations personnel on issue resolution
  • Educate Operations personnel on proper operation and care of equipment
  • Performing all tasks while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), manufactures literature, and safety policies
  • Amend existing SOP's aligning with best practices
  • Generate reports in Maintenance Software to evaluate repair trends and make recommendations to management.
  • Provide weekly status reports to leadership on Locus productivity.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides for Locus.
  • Plan, schedule, and maintain coverage for all shifts
  • Monitor workload and direct resources accordingly
  • Mentor and grow a world class team
  • Utilize North Coast Tool Kit to positively influence key performance indicators
  • Detail and execute continuous improvement projects
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

  • Previous warehouse and/or driver experience
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Comfortable writing/responding to emails
  • Proficient in using Solar for trouble shooting common questions related to deliveries
  • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
  • Mix of warehouse and office work environments
  • Frequent computer, phone, and scanner usage
  • Typical Monday through Friday however based on business needs evenings and weekend hours may occasionally be required
  • Requires punctual and reliable on-site attendance
