We are looking for an exceptional candidate to manage our Newington, NH Lighting Showroom!

  • Direct the sales activities of retail sales associates.
  • Supervise and manage all activities of the showroom associates.
  • Review monthly reports to make certain branch budgets are adhered to.
  • Hire, develop and train new employees. Review performance for staff.
  • Ensure that the company obtains an equitable return on its accounts receivable and inventory assets.
  • Participate in and support marketing efforts and provide information pertaining to planning, pricing, people and product.
  • Work assigned showroom floor time, assisting clients in a manner that maintains long term relationships.
  • Generate sales of decorative and architectural lighting through in-showroom client engagement.
  • Minimize returns through customer assistance, thoughtful selections, and excellent follow-up with vendors and customers.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized showroom appearance to enhance sales.
  • Responsible to open, close retail showroom and designate appropriate keyholders

Required Skills:

  • Critical thinking: ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines and production schedules in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Strong analytical skills with a consistent focus on fact-based decision making.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years lighting and industry knowledge preferred.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to manage the work of others and drive the sales growth of the showroom.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to enter data, navigate screens and retrieve data in order management systems.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including Saturday as needed
