Job Summary: The Industrial Inside Sales Strategic Account Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers by understanding their business objectives and delivering exceptional customer service at all touch points. Additionally, the representative will focus on expanding the customer base by researching and implementing strategies to boost sales and profit margins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and identify strategies to enhance customer engagement with unassigned accounts. Collaborate with internal and external resources to create innovative outreach strategies
- Maintain assigned customer accounts by processing quotations, orders, and continuous follow-up throughout the customer's purchasing cycle.
- Initiate outbound calls and emails, utilize NorthEast Marketing activities to identify and develop growth opportunities with both new and existing customers.
- Manage assigned customer accounts by processing quotes, orders, and providing continuous follow-up throughout the purchasing cycle.
- Qualify leads and ensure all data is accurately maintained in the company's CRM system.
- Analyze and identify product gaps at existing customers and qualify new business opportunities.
- Provide customers with information and demonstrations of our Digital Solutions for fast and easy ordering through our website and digital tools.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Goal-oriented, highly motivated individual.
- Strong computer skills with experience working in a CRM system.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong math skills, with the ability to calculate figures such as percentages and discounts.
- 2-year college or vocational school preferred, with an emphasis on electrical/industrial automation, or equivalent knowledge through job-related experience and training.
- Familiarity with Sandler Sales Methodology.
