World Electric is hiring an EV Specialist to join our team!
Main purpose of the job
Position World Electric to profitably grow in the E-Mobility market. Be the product expert and work with the materials group on inventory strategies. Be the point person and main resource for everything E-Mobility at World Electric. Prospect for opportunities and work with sales on opportunities they uncover to quote and secure orders for EV Chargers and peripheral equipment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Identify opportunities to quote and close E-Mobility orders (EV chargers and peripheral equipment).
- Be the product expert for E-Mobility equipment at World Electric.
- Work with the materials and operations teams on an inventory strategy.
- Partner with manufacturers/manufacturer reps to develop relationships and become their channel partner of choice.
- Represent World Electric at all Sonepar E-Mobility events and coordinate our strategy with the larger Sonepar initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to quote and close E-Mobility orders (EV chargers and peripheral equipment).
- Perform all assigned duties in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with World Electric policies.
- Participates in and follows all World policies, guidelines, and procedures (safety, Anti-Harassment, Ethics, etc.)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum work experience requirements:
1-2 yrs. or equivalent work experience in sales and/or analysis preferred.
Minimum education requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

General Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Up to 25% travel.
Work Environment:
- This position will involve work in a traditional office, remote office, and will spend time in the field with sales and customers.
