What you will do:

  • Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries regarding their accounts, credit terms, and payment status. Provide excellent customer service to resolve issues promptly.
  • Credit Processing: Assist in the evaluation and processing of credit applications, including gathering necessary documentation and conducting preliminary assessments.
  • Job Accounts: Support the credit team in setting up job accounts, processing lien releases.
  • Account Maintenance: Update and maintain accurate customer account information in the financial system. Monitor accounts for overdue payments and discrepancies.
  • Collections Assistance: Support the credit team in collection activities by preparing and sending out reminders, statements, and follow-up communications.
  • Documentation: Ensure all credit and collections documentation is complete, accurate, and filed appropriately. Assist in preparing reports for management review.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and relevant regulations in all credit and collections activities.

What you will bring:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in finance, accounting, or business administration is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a credit support or customer service role, preferably in the electrical distribution or a related industry.
  • Background: Construction Lien experience preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes: Customer-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen.
  • Long and varied hours are required occasionally.

Location: This role is based in Oceanside, CA and/or Remote/Hybrid

Work hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Travel: Yes, up to 50% of the time

Salary Range:

  • This is a non-exempt position and pays between $20.37 - $27.50 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
