1st Shift Bin Stock Driver

$21.85/hr to start + (Pay for experience)

Home Time: Local deliveries and home every night!

Type of Freight: Van

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

As a Bin Stocker, you will be responsible for driving a Viking Electric vehicle and replenishing specific stock at customer facilities in a manufacturing environment or at customer job sites. You will also be responsible for working in the warehouse performing physical and clerical duties involved in accurately receiving, storing, picking, checking, and shipping material.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be the face, voice, and reputation of our company while delivering products to customer job sites, shops, and businesses.
  • Pick and pack orders to replace stock as required by customer. Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped. Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for safe delivery or storage.
  • Secure load for delivery and unload truck manually or by using powered industrial equipment.
  • Unpack product at customer site and place product in designated work cell or bin location.
  • Take inventory at customer site, create orders to replenish to customer min/max requirements.
  • Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure truck/van is in safe operating condition and maintains a clean appearance.
  • Communicate with sales associates through problem solving to meet customer needs.
  • Work in warehouse doing receiving, stocking, order filling, or routing as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum two years electrical background, including warehousing, and/or electrical construction preferred.
    • Warehouse equipment experience such as forklift and pallet jack.
    • Commercial driving experience, clean driving record with the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card, and the ability to represent the company while out on the road.
    • Good mechanical aptitude, math and reading skills.
    • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time.
    • Warehouse skills including powered industrial equipment and RF technology.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for interactions with customers and coworkers.
    • Commercial driving skills
  • Ability to work independently in an unsupervised setting.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 85 lbs.
  • Knowledge and experience with the delivery area preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old
