Job Description:

As a Materials & Production Planning Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Accountable for the plant supply chain performance and impact on business performance including customer backorders, inventory, and supplier management.
  • Managing the plant supply chain function (production planning, material planning and outsourced manufacturing). Sets direction and establishes priorities for the group. Supports employee growth by encouraging education/training and identifying development opportunities.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of broader supply chain strategies. Communicates service attainment and cost targets as defined by various business teams to manufacturing leadership teams and supply chain organization.
  • Process owner for definition and optimization of capacity/material planning and inventory management.
  • Defining and sponsoring continuous improvement projects that will result in meeting business team goals. Projects include lead-time reduction, inventory reduction, service reliability, and strategic supplier relations / procurement approach.
  • Supporting and ensuring environmental, health, safety, regulatory and intellectual property compliance. Provides direction for effective and consistent use of design standards and guidelines.  Complies with professional and quality standards, corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with Solventum’s values, practices and ethical standards.
  • Leading site implementation of enterprise resource planning software and related disentanglement activities.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a supply chain, engineering, or business discipline AND (7) years of manufacturing or supply chain experience in a private, public, government or military environment  

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • 1 year of experience in a supervisor role

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Proven experience of supervising a production planning, supply chain, or logistics organization to achieve operational objectives in EHS, Quality, Service and Cost
  • Project leadership experience
  • Process experience with SAP material resource planning systems
  • Proven experience with change management and implementation of new enterprise level software systems
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional peer team, provide leadership for a diverse organization, and influence skills to support positive change acceptance within the work team.
  • APICS CPIM certification

Work location: Onsite (Columbia, MO)

Travel: May include up to 10% (domestic/international)

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
