The Role...
The Staff Accountant is responsible for recording and reconciliation of transactional data as follows:
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations in assigned areas.
- Assist in the month-end closing process in accordance with deadlines.
- Recording manual entries on a weekly basis to process transactions of the business.
- Help to identify and implement financial process improvements.
- Support the quarterly and year-end internal and external audit processes.
- Other ad hoc projects as required.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with good intuition.
Requirements...
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years’ experience in accounting, which experience in either a Big 4 firm or hospitality, CPG or retail environment.
- Pro-active and self-starter, with an ability to work collaboratively with finance and operations team members.
- Advanced Excel skills associated with large volumes of data, data management and reporting.
- Experience working in an ERP system with multiple entities is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Blackline a plus.

In accordance with New York law, the salary range for this role if filled within New York is listed below. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Pay Range
$60,000—$80,000 USD
