The Role…
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Architectural Assistant and Revit Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality design deliverables across various project stages—from concept to specification and construction documents—while ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role also involves leading the migration from AutoCAD to Revit for our UK-based team, setting up and maintaining Revit standards, and providing ongoing training and support to the team. You will be working closely with the Senior/Project Architects and the wider design team, assisting with both architectural design and Revit coordination.

Main Duties…
Project-Based:
- Produce high-quality design work from concept through to construction packages.
- Take responsibility for an individual project or package of work, ensuring design adheres to SH design and operational standards, as well as relevant statutory requirements, under the guidance of the Senior or Project Architect.
- Collaborate closely with the project team, following efficient design management processes to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met with oversight from the Principal/Project Architect.
- Create project design information as required by the Senior/Project Architect.
- Accurately assign project hours to Harvest on a daily basis to track progress and resource usage.
Revit Training & Monitoring:
- Lead the migration of the UK-based team from AutoCAD to Revit, overseeing a smooth transition and integration.
- Set up, update, and implement efficient Revit standards for both UK and US teams, ensuring consistency and best practices across the teams.
- Provide training to the UK-based team in Revit, including onboarding new architects and designers.
- Regularly monitor and assess the team’s use and efficiency in Revit, identifying areas for improvement.
- Organize periodic training sessions to ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest Revit techniques and workflows.
Key Attributes:
- Industrious, enthusiastic, and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and able to take responsibility for tasks and projects.
- Active listener with clear and effective communication skills.
- Fully conversant with relevant software packages including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Knowledgeable in Building Regulations and construction methods.
- An Architect/Technician with 1-3 years of relevant experience in the commercial sector, preferably with experience working on hotel and restaurant projects.
- Approachable, proactive, and engaging personality, particularly for training and mentoring the team in Revit.
What We Are Looking For…
- Degree or equivalent in Architecture or a related field.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with a working knowledge of BIM standards and workflows.
- Experience with large-scale projects, particularly in the commercial sector, is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
