Shoreditch House...

Located in East London’s historic Tea Building, Shoreditch House is an established fixture on the area’s creative scene. Highlights include a gym and rooftop pool, both with panoramic views across the city. Spread over the fifth and sixth floor, the house also has 26 bedrooms, a Cowshed Spa, two restaurants and a daily programme of events. The Members’ restaurant on the fifth floor serves an all-day club menu, while the rooftop Japanese restaurant, Pen Yen, is the destination for sushi, sashimi and dishes from the robata grill. The back-deck dining space, also on the rooftop, is the new home for Maya, a Mexican inspired dining concept bringing coastal Baja Mexican cuisine to the Shoreditch rooftop space 

The Role...

We are seeking an experienced Lead Therapist to join our East London team at Cowshed Shoreditch (E1 6AW). Our Massage Therapists ensure that the member receives the highest standard of treatments. You will guide members through our offerings and determine which massages would benefit them the most.

The Role… 

• Introduce Beauty Therapists to the philosophy of Cowshed in line with Soho House & Co  
• Conduct detailed retail training on Cowshed and any new products 
• Educating Therapists to the highest standard to ensure that they gain a full understanding of our products and treatments 
• Adapting training techniques to accommodate different learning styles 
• Ensure training audits are accurately completed for all training 
• Hold ongoing training with the team to ensure that the client receives the highest standard of spa treatment 
• Adhering to lesson plans as set out by Spa Manager with efficiency whilst ensuring therapists have an excellent grasp on training content 
• Motivating attendees to transfer learning into improved in-salon performance 
• Propose all Cowshed Professional orders to ensure the spa is always stocked to provide treatments. 
• Responsible for quarterly professional stocktakes, to submit these to management and ensure stock is tightly controlled 
• To ensure that clients are comfortable and at ease with the facilities that the spa offers and relay any feedback to the Management team 

What we are looking for...

• NVQ Level 3, ITEC, VTCT OR equivalent massage related qualifications
• Excellent customer service skills and a true passion for making others feel better
• A team player
• Going above and beyond for clients to make sure they have a unique experience
• Confident in building relationships with your clients and recommending products
• Drive to maintain high standards of treatment service and retail recommendations
• Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
