As Lead Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our analytics and insights function, driving high-impact analytics projects to support all areas of our business. You will own a diverse portfolio of projects, designing and building analytical solutions to complex problems. Your work will inform strategic decisions, optimise business performance, and deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders of all levels. And as our most senior data analyst, you will also help shape the culture and maturity of our business in how we use data to make decisions.
Main Duties...
- Own and manage a portfolio of analytics projects to extract meaningful insights that drive decision making across departments, including membership, finance, marketing, and operations.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand complex business challenges, translating them into analytical solutions and approaches that provide clear and actionable insights.
- Develop analytical frameworks and dashboards that support ongoing performance tracking and highlight key insights for stakeholders.
- Work closely with our Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering team to ensure the data you need is accurate and available.
- Mentor and support other team members, including delivering projects with our offshore Data Scientists and Analysts.
- Help foster a data-driven culture across the organisation, promoting best practices in analytics and helping to build data literacy among all teams.
- Identify opportunities for new tools, methodologies, and approaches to enhance the team’s impact and keep us at the forefront of data analytics in hospitality.

What We Are Looking For...
Technical Skills
- Expert in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and preferably statistical analysis software (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience working with large datasets, data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery), data transformation tools (e.g., dbt) and GitHub.
- Strong knowledge of analytics and BI best practices, with experience delivering insights through a range of advanced analytical methods.
- Some experience with machine learning and generative AI beneficial.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proven experience in deriving insights and recommendations from data analysis to drive strategic decisions.
Commercial Acumen
- Experience working with various business operations such as membership / customer experience, finance or marketing, with a deep knowledge of the role data plays in these functions.
- Experience working within the hospitality or related industries preferred.
Communication & Influencing
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders of all levels.
- Demonstrated success working with senior stakeholders and leading data-driven initiatives in a business environment.
Project Management
- Experience leading multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and align analytics programme with broader business goals.
- Occasionally deliver projects with our talented offshore Data Scientists and Analysts.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred (e.g., Maths, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics).
Experience
- Likely to have 5+ years of experience in data analytics, ideally with at least 2 years in a senior analyst or management position.
