Junior Copywriter - Soho Home

The Role…

Soho Home are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Copywriter to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to collaborate across the business on a range of exciting projects and help tell the brand story through compelling content.

The role will cover all key touch points including physical, email, social, on-site and more.

Main Duties…

• Writing factual & accurate copy that appears across a variety of Soho Home channels (product copy, website, email, and print collateral) – from homepage, to email, packaging and product descriptions
• Composing weekly marketing campaign, automation and service emails
• Create + review copy across sohohome.com and in store experience: including POS, product descriptions, landing pages.
• Write detailed product descriptions that celebrate our product design. Work with our new product development team to ensure we are representing the product in the most inspiring way
• Concept new messaging propositions and contribute to weekly ideas and sign off meetings
• Develop the Soho Home tone of voice working alongside our Chief Creative Officer, proactively adding to our tone of voice guidelines as feedback is digested
• Ability to manage your own time across short and long project lead times, and respond accurately to briefs from the wider team
• Demonstrate an eye for detail, good grammar and respond to feedback in a timely manner
• You will be expected to respond to a mix of specific briefs, and more creative briefs that will require you to collaborate with the wider content team and creative team members such as the Soho House editorial teams

What We Are Looking For...

• 2+ years of experience in a Junior Copywriter position is desirable.
• Email experience essential
• Experience working in interiors and homewares
• Exposure to the retail environment preferred (in store or online)
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Experience of working in a CMS
• Education to degree level would be desirable
• A capable and talented writer with excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Highly organised and diligent with a capacity to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
• A self-starter and problem solver with lots of initiative to get the job done better than it’s been done before
