The Role…
The infrastructure engineer will be responsible for the design, build, deployment and maintenance of the Network and Security infrastructure for Soho House and its associated fascia’s (Soho Restaurants, Soho Works, Retail, The Ned, Scorpios, The Line, The Saguaro and Soho House & Co overall). This role will roughly be 70% project focused and 30% business as usual/support focused.
The role will be based at the London Support Office and remotely and reports directly to the Group Head of Infrastructure with whom they will work with to ensure we keep a high security and infrastructure posture throughout all Soho House & Co entities, properties and systems.

- Ensure network infrastructure projects are delivered successfully, on time and on-budget by all Network Infrastructure Engineers and Contractors
- Ensure progress of all network infrastructure projects are clearly documented and communicated to stakeholders
- Assist with putting together network bill of materials and scoping of new house openings and refurbishments projects
- Configuration and maintenance of networks (Netskope, Palo Alto, Aruba EgdeConnect (Silver Peak), HPE/Aruba Central/Switching and WiFi, Aruba ClearPass, Ruckus, Cisco)
- Carry out network infrastructure projects/upgrades and new house opening projects (On-site/Remote globally)
- Documentation of new and existing network infrastructure
- Handover support of new network infrastructure to in-house team and third-party managed service providers
- Carry out network security projects including implementing of new security tools/functionality across networks and systems globally without disrupting business operations
- Research, test, procure and implementation of new technologies and products to meet business requirements and improve way of working
- Assist with administration work including change requests, updating and managing infrastructure/security support tickets
- Carry out due diligence on third party works carried out to ensure all infrastructure and security requirements are met (Resilience, best practises and security)
- Remediate vulnerabilities for all internal and external facing networks
- Facilitate remediation of internal and external vulnerabilities with third parties where applicable
- Carry out quarterly/bi-annually on-site visits to review network infrastructure

- Extensive Experience working with Layer 3/Layer 7/SASE Networking

- SSE: Netskope - Secure Web Gateway/Zero Trust Network Access/Cloud Firewall
- NGFW: Palo Alto Networks – Firewalls/Panorama
- SD-WAN: Aruba EdgeConnect (Formally Silver Peak)
- Aruba Central
- Switching/Routing: HPE/Aruba AOS-CX, HPE/Aruba AOS-S, Cisco
- Wireless: Aruba AOS-8, Aruba AOS-10/Ruckus
- NAC: Aruba ClearPass
- Microsoft Windows Server and Applications
- Azure Networking
- Desired experience working with Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022 Operating Systems, features and roles
- Desired experience working with Microsoft software/components like SQL, IIS, Active Directory (All components), PowerShell
- Desired experience administering Office365 optionally large-scale changes using PowerShell
- Desired experience working with Hypervisors in-relation to networking
- Following vendor skills/experience desired:
- Scale Computing (RHEL KVM)
- VMWare ESXI

Additional Technical Skills…
- Security design principle conscious
- Experience working with large scale (75+ site) MPLS/VPLS/SD-WAN Networks
- Experience working with static routing and dynamic routing protocols for large network environments (OSPF, BGP)
- Experience working with Data Centres (covering multiple regions)
- Experience working with SD-WAN
- Experience working with SSE
- Experience working with Azure, AWS or GCP with an understanding of Cloud environments
- Experience working with SSO/SCIM/OATH/SAML (Okta, ADFS and Azure AD)
- Experience working in an environment where a change control process needs to be followed
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Very good time management
- Great/Quick troubleshooting thought process
- Ability to look at current environments and recommend better ways of working
- Very high attention to detail
