The Role...

We are looking for an Income Audit for the active cycle. Under the supervision of the Accounting & Finance Team, the Income Audit will have a fundamental role in ensuring the recording and reconciliation of all revenue generated by the various outlets of the house.

  • Check of all revenues generated are correct and recorded in line with tax legislation and accounting principles.
  • Control and reconciliation of G/L accounts linked to data import operations
  • Revenue reporting and control by department and type
  • Formal and substantial checks on invoices and receipts issued, including the management and reconciliation of the tourist tax
  • Ensure that all refunds and miscellaneous charges are supported by the necessary documentation
  • Carry out monthly checks and reconciliations of customer schedules and request payments in line with company procedures
  • Recording of bank receipts
  • Cash operations such as deposits and currency exchange to the various departments
  • Control of any cancellations and related justifications
  • Checking the discounts made and compiling the relevant report
  • Balancing credit cards
  • Bank reconciliations

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the legal provisions relating to the tasks assigned
  • Flexibility and ability to work to stringent deadlines
  • Ability to work constructively and in synergy with the team to achieve common objectives, share projects, information and resources
  • Analytical ability, proactivity and approach aimed at solving problems
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and time management
  • Experience in the role of at least 3-4 years or in similar contexts is desirable
  • Knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of Opera and Micros systems
  • Good knowledge of Excel and computer systems
