Soho Farmhouse
Surrounded by 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, Soho Farmhouse is a destination for food and drink, wellness and outdoor activities. Two hours’ drive or a short train from London, we have 114 bedrooms, including cabins, huts and farmhouse bedrooms to stay in, a state-of-the-art gym, Cowshed Spa, an indoor and outdoor pool and cinema. We have multiple food and beverage outlets on site, The Main Barn is the central hub, serving the club menu all day. On the mezzanine, Comfy Farm has sofas and an open fire place, while Fancy Farm is a more formal setting for lunch or dinner. There is also Pen Yen for Japanese izakaya-style dishes from the robata grill, bind and sashimi, and Blake’s Kitchen for fresh bread, sausage rolls and cinnamon buns. Finally, there is The Little Bell, a local favourite, for nose-to-tail cooking and natural wine.
The Role…
The Head of Food & Beverage (F&B) is responsible for ensuring the seamless daily operations of all food and beverage services, delivering exceptional experiences for members and guests. They oversee staffing, training, and performance management across F&B departments, ensuring consistency in food quality and service while upholding standards. With a focus on financial performance, the role involves analysing sales data, managing budgets, and controlling costs to drive menu development and overall profitability. Collaboration is key, as the Head of F&B works closely with the General Manager, Operations team, and Events department to address operational needs, and resolve challenges proactively. They act as a point of contact for department heads regarding F&B related matters and ensure compliance with health & safety, and company protocols.
Main Duties…
- Ensure all departments are fully staffed and capable of daily operations by liaising with managers and Head Chefs.
- Oversee daily F&B operations, maintaining consistency in food quality and service while meeting company standards.
- Analyse sales data and F&B costs to guide menu changes and development.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Head of Operations on budgets, reporting, and P&L control.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges in partnership with the team and People & Development (P&D).
- Serve as the primary contact for department heads regarding F&B-related queries and concerns.
- Work with the events team to ensure seamless F&B support for events, including staffing, setup, and service.
- Manage recruitment, training, and performance management across the F&B team, with support from P&D.
- Monitor stock levels, oversee stock-taking processes, and ensure adequate inventory for operations.
- Communicate with members and guests to gather feedback and use insights to improve offerings

- Strong leadership and team management abilities to inspire and develop a large team
- Proven experience in a senior F&B or hospitality management role within high-volume, premium environments
- Problem solving and decision making abilities to address operational challenges effectively
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent customer service
- Fluent in English
- Organised and reliable
- Computer literacy within Opera, Micros and Adaco advantageous
Expected working hours for a Head of Food & Beverage:
- Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes
