The Role…
At Soho House Gym Supervisor is dedicated to health and wellness as well as overall fitness. You will work closely with the Health Club Manager that oversees every aspect of the day-to-day management of Soho House fitness centres. Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the gym as well as ensuring that the equipment and machines are in excellent working condition. Motivate and engage your team as an energetic and enthusiastic leader, creating and scheduling classes and personal training sessions, scheduling the gym team, and overseeing the work of the gym staff.
What we are looking for...
- 1+ years experience in a similar fitness role
- Personal training certification (Min Level 3 qualification)
- First aid certification and knowledge
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Must be physically fit.
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 10 hours.
- Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 50 pounds.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
