The Digital, Data and Technology team is responsible for technology that enables the effective functioning of systems within the Houses, as well as the Soho House app and our website, and all backend systems. The efficient and convenient function of our digital platforms is essential to the success of our business, particularly our app. It is through this that the majority of bookings for food and beverage, bedrooms and events are made; the app also allows members to check-in to Houses, connect with other members, and seamlessly pay their bill.
Additional responsibilities of the Digital, Data and Technology team include: all technology in our physicals spaces, including WiFi and digital card readers for check-in; cyber security; data capture, security and insights; people and development platforms and finance systems; marketing platforms; Soho Support platforms; standardising technology in new Houses; and data privacy compliance.

The Role...
As Finance Systems Project Manager, you will be part of the IT Delivery team within Digital, focusing on the delivery of technology and process change projects for the Finance function to improve controls and compliance, or increase process efficiency. This is a critical mid-senior role operating in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have a strong experience of IT project delivery and a functional and technical understanding of ERP and Finance systems, with a good grasp of business processes and compliance principles.
You will ensure that the projects allocated to you are delivered in collaboration with business leads and vendors, within the time, cost and quality constraints set. Timely and effective communication to management and business leads will be crucial, as will be an ability to promote project management best practices.
This role is based in Soho House’s London Support Office and reports to the Head of Finance Systems, with whom you will work to help the Finance function improve its processes and systems, and embrace new technologies to support the company’s growth. This role requires an individual who can work independently and take accountability for the delivery of project outputs and business requirements.
Main Duties…
The Finance Systems Project Manager will hold the following responsibilities on a set of projects:
- Develop business case, scope and project plan.
- Implement project governance, monitor progress, and deliver timely, high-quality reporting.
- Ensure project outputs are delivered to a high standard of quality, on time and within budget.
- Manage, control and mitigate risks and issues affecting the project, and escalate where appropriate.
- Factor compliance requirements (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley, information security) into the project delivery.
- Manage, and report on, the project’s finances, with a strong focus on controlling costs.
- Manage internal and external resource and skill allocation to the project, including third parties.
- Provide leadership and support to the project team.
- Plan and deliver high-quality communications to relevant stakeholders.
- Plan and lead the project's transition to BAU operations and support.
- Place focus on business change to ensure user acceptance and benefits realisation.
What We Are Looking For…
- Proven Track record of leading and successfully delivering ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Infor) and Finance system implementation projects.
- Expert knowledge and handling of IT project management methodologies and techniques.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build excellent relationships with stakeholders.
- Outstanding people management, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Solid understanding of technology (programming, architecture, infrastructure, service management).
- Good command of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
- Familiar with SOX compliance principles, especially IT controls.
- Strong team player promoting collaborative and respectful ways of working.
- Highly proficient in project finance and resource management.
- Adaptability and capacity to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
- Project Management (Prince2, PMP, MSP), Performance Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) or Agile (Scrum, SAFe) qualifications a plus.
- Formal Finance qualification a plus (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
