The Role...
Soho house are looking for an experienced and innovative leader to drive the next phase of growth of our global Wellness offering. This role will have full management and oversight of Soho Health Club; creating a dynamic and engaging fitness, spa and wellbeing experience that go beyond the existing gym and spa model. You will be responsible for leading the team, based at our sites around the world, to deliver agreed budgets by curating high-quality treatments, fitness programs, retreat experiences, retail offerings and partnerships. The role is responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience across all our sites, alongside the delivery of future wellness initiatives and programming globally.

Main Duties…
Wellness Strategy & Delivery -
- Develop and implement the vision of Soho House’s global wellness strategy, encompassing gyms, spas and new wellness concepts
- Collaborate with cross functional global leads to ensure alignment with Soho House’s overall brand operations and membership experience
- Forge strategic relationships with wellness experts, brands, and practitioners that help establish Soho House as an innovator in the wellness space
Operational Excellence -
- Ensure seamless operations across all Soho Health Club sites. Ensure teams are delivering service standards, core fitness classes and spa treatments according to new standard operations protocols
- Implement a leading and engaging wellness programme for all gyms, spas, and wellness spaces globally, leading to high member satisfaction
- Supplement the core SHC offering with a diverse, original and cutting-edge range of fitness classes, workshops, spa treatments, residences and retreats
- Build and execute the retail offering with desirable, innovative brands that help elevate SHC with members, introducing new apparel, F&B, supplements, and lifestyle products
- Manage the implementation of wellness-focused offerings in bedrooms, including products and treatments
Financial Performance -
- Set and deliver the budget for all SHC’s globally. Manage cost control and margins to drive revenue growth and meet/exceed profitability
- Track, analyse, and report on the performance of classes and treatments, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Design & Expansion -
Partner closely with the design and operations teams to provide operational expertise on the development of gym and wellness spaces across new and existing locations
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor and inspire a high performing team across SHC sites globally, fostering a member-first culture and exceptional service delivery
Measures of Success…
Financial Performance -
- Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed revenue targets for gym classes, spa treatments and retail sales within wellness spaces
- Cost Efficiency and Profitability of Wellness Programs: Ensure that all wellness-related programs and services operate within budget while maximizing profitability
- Reporting: Provide weekly performance data and analysis of all initiatives to C suite weekly reporting on the above performance measures
Member Satisfaction & Engagement -
- Increase in Member Participation: Track attendance and participation rates of members in gym classes, wellness events, spa treatments, and retreats
- Member Satisfaction Scores: Regularly gather feedback from members on our wellness experiences via surveys
- Retention & Growth: Measure the impact of wellness programs on member retention rates, with a focus on loyalty and new member acquisition through wellness-related offerings
Operational Excellence -
- Timely Project Delivery: Successfully launch new core offerings in SHCs, and in-room wellness concepts, ensuring consistency with Soho House brand standards
- Utilisation of Spaces: Maximize the utilisation of gym and wellness facilities, ensuring that the spaces are fully booked and used efficiently across all locations
- Innovation in Offerings: Measure the introduction of new wellness concepts, services, or partnerships that differentiate Soho House from competitors and enhance member experiences
Team & Leadership Effectiveness -
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with operations, bedrooms, design, communications and membership teams to ensure cohesive wellness initiatives
- Talent Development: Attract and retain top talent in gyms and spas, ensuring ongoing training and development for staff
- Regional Consistency: Ensure that wellness standards are consistently implemented across all locations, maintaining a cohesive member experience.
Brand Growth & Positioning -
- Brand Leadership: Strengthen Soho House’s reputation as a leader in the wellness space by launching standout wellness initiatives that attract media attention and industry recognition.
- New Wellness Concepts: Successfully implement new wellness concepts (e.g., new fitness trends, holistic treatments) that align with emerging industry trends and member needs.
- Partnerships & Collaborations: Establish strategic partnerships with wellness experts, brands, and influencers to enhance Soho House’s wellness offerings and reach.
What We Are Looking For…
- 10+ years of experience in a wellness themed leadership role, preferably within the luxury hospitality, fitness, or lifestyle sectors.
- Proven track record in wellness strategy development and delivery, event programming, and high-end member or guest experience management
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving business growth
- Experience managing large-scale projects, budgets, and partnerships across multiple locations
- Deep understanding of the wellness industry, including fitness, spa treatments, holistic health, nutrition, and recovery and longevity technology
- A proactive and adaptable approach with a solutions-focused attitude
- Strong project management skills with the proven ability to deliver multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Creative thinker with a passion for delivering unique, tailored wellness experiences
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and excellence
