Sodexo at Millard Public Schools is seeking a Safety and Training Manager to oversee safety compliance and training for 400 employees across 36 buildings. What You'll Do
- Reviews, modifies, and enhances existing safety and training programs, while developing new initiatives to meet MPS/Sodexo requirements and address department-specific needs.
- Conducts required training sessions, safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards across the district.
- Plans, implements, and maintains comprehensive preventative care, safety, and compliance programs to minimize risks and ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborates with management to develop and maintain an Emergency Action Plan and serves as the primary contact for incident notifications, investigations, and case management.
- Analyzes safety data, conducts incident investigations to identify root causes, and develops targeted training to address safety trends and improve overall performance.
- Delivers engaging, effective training sessions both onsite and through digital platforms, ensuring that materials are accurate, current, and aligned with safety goals.

- Ability to moderate large groups
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive safety mindset and proficient with IT racking tools and development. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
