Sodexo has an opening for a Senior Manager, Payroll, to manage the daily functions of the Sodexo Payroll Operations team in the preparation of wage and salary payroll for ADP platform including time & labor system maintenance. This position will also oversee the customer service call desk; electronic distributions; government reporting; accountable for state and federal compliance and internal controls. This position also leads process improvement efforts, procedures, policies and deliverables.
This is a hybrid position with the potential for fully remote, reporting to our Cheektowaga office.

The Senior Manager Payroll will manage staff members to ensure service levels are maintained and issues are resolved. This position serves as the senior point person for escalated issues from Field Operations, HR and outside the unit resources. The Senior Manager, Payroll will support company projects and initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have the following preferred skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of technical payroll experience
- CPP (Certified Payroll professional) certification highly desired
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing others
- Strong technical knowledge as it relates to payroll processes
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing, including time and labor system (ADP or Kronos preferred) and staff management required.
- Excellent communication skills, as this role interacts with all levels within the organization
- Strong customer service skills and easy to adapt to change
