Sodexo is seeking a Senior Office Manager for our account at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. Cooper is a 650 licensed bed trauma facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding our associates for Nutrition Services (Food) and EVS (Environmental Services / Housekeeping). Overall, will assist employees with client policies as well as Sodexo policies. You will work closely with Client Human Resources Business Partner and all client HR associates. Two sets of policies and procedures and two sets of employees, client and Sodexo. Coaches and counsels management and assists with employee accountability and maintaining attendance write-ups for both areas. Investigates all HR related issues and documents accordingly.

You will guide and help managers with attendance and performance evaluations as well with managing accountability. The successful candidate will have experience in all Human Resource functions, including administration of facility hiring, retention, termination, benefits, worker's compensation, FMLA, long-term staffing strategies, payroll, understanding of NJ Laws.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with on-site managers to ensure compliance with Sodexo human resource policy and procedures and other human resource needs.
  • Create and maintain employees files.
  • Maintain employee files ensuring compliance with hospital and Sodexo standards.
  • Assist with Employee Relations and Employee Retention.
  • Interact with the client Hospital Human Resource team as necessary.
  • Be responsible for all unit level recruitment including job posting and interviewing.
  • Facilitate all required Sodexo HR training programs including New Employee onboarding.
  • Assist with other human resource initiatives for the unit as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years experience in administrative support, or a related field
