Sodexo is seeking an On Call Registered Dietitian to support multiple Senior Living accounts throughout the country. This position will primarily provide clinical support to our communities in the Seniors West/MidWest region (Chicago, CA & WA), but will fill in elsewhere as needed. Remote charting with ~25% paid travel.
Ideal candidate will live in CA, Seattle area, or near Chicago. Other locations will be considered.

This position is a great opportunity for a Registered Dietitian who is excited about traveling and has a passion for working with Seniors!
The successful candidate will:
- provide nutritional care to the long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients within various communities;
- meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
- be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;
- represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/or
- support the food service operation as needed.

- Registered Dietitian credentials and state licensure where required;
- at least 2 years of senior living clinical experience is preferred; other relevant experience will be considered;
- strong verbal and written communication skills;
- strong leadership skills;

- excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors to make every day a better day for our residents.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
