Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian 2 (Schools) for Keller Independent School District in Fort Worth, Texas. This account has over 40 school sites and 35,000 students in the Dallas Fort Worth area, and presents a great opportunity to join Sodexo's Schools segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the National School Lunch Program guidelines and solid leadership skills.

What You'll Do
- oversee food service functions at 5-8 school locations by providing staffing and operational support to cafeteria managers;
- be responsible for menu planning and nutritional analysis;
- be responsible for special diets required by the district and work closely with school nurses, students and families;
- work closely with the Student Health Committee by serving as a district lead;
- work with nutrition issues related to food allergies, weight management and disordered eating patterns and other medical issues requiring meal selection assistance;
- provide direction for planning strategic goals, standards of the brand and maintaining effective communication with other managers and inter-department liaisons;
- establish and execute Client and Sodexo operating standards;
- maintain and develop client relationships and client satisfaction for nutrition services; and
- stay current with most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.

What You Bring
- are a Registered Dietitian with TX state licensure;
- have knowledge of USDA regulations and processes as related to the National School Lunch Program;
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels;
- have the proven ability to effectively engage, motivate and influence others regarding their nutrition;
- have strong presentation skills;
- show proven history of working as a self-starter, with strong demonstrated ability to work independently;
- have demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with the ability to adapt the changing needs of the role;
- have a history of working independently with little direction;
- have a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field and implementation of new and innovative ideas to implement.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
