Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 to support the patient service management operations and a team of approximately 80 employees for NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler. NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler, is a 4-Star Rated facility known for its specialized memory care program, located on Roosevelt Island, conveniently located to NYC and Queens and easily accessible to public transportation, offering free on-site parking.

This is not an entry level role, prior patient service, union management experience in a healthcare setting required! Must be able to work closing shift 11:30am-8:30pm, rotating weekends (hours may vary per needs of the business)

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day patient service operations;
  • manage, lead, grow, and retain frontline staff;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships; and
  • create a positive environment;

The ideal candidate:

  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills;
  • has a background in managing or supervising frontline staff within food service;
  • healthcare experience and/or experience with specialized diets, a plus;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
