Sodexo is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team at a Catholic convent retirement home for a small community of all female clergy. This premier retirement home is located near the meditative landscape of the Gardens at Palmdale and provides residents a new standard in retirement living with abundant amenities, exceptional wellness programs, delicious food, and excellent facilities. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this hands-on position that will be second in command of the unit overseeing all facilities services and direct involvement in the Sisters daily activities. We are looking for a strong leader that can work closely with this community and provide high levels of customer support. This is a great opportunity for just the right individual who enjoys communicating and has a heart for this type of service

What You'll Do
- Be hands on within all operations - housekeeping, grounds keeping, caregiver team, vendor management and on-site maintenance
- Successfully coordinate all required tasks through supervisors and frontline staff
- Deliver high quality services
- Develop and maintain client and resident satisfaction
- Ensure Sodexo standards are met

What You Bring
- Have a work history demonstrating strong management skills, as well as previous experience working in a Senior Healthcare environment
- Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
- Follow the principles of managing by example, to maintain contact with clients, customers, and associates
- Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
