Sodexo is seeking an Office Manager for ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed teaching medical center, the flagship facility and the heart of ECU Health. This is a 1st Shift opening (8:00am-4:30pm). This position will report to the General Manager and support the Environmental Services Department with document control, inventory, report running and basic administrative responsibilities. Preferred candidates will have experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and have excellent customer service skills. ECU Health Medical Center is the third largest Level I Trauma Center in the nation and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.

What You'll Do

  • Be fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, & Powerpoint) Teams and Sharepoint
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail
  • Order supplies, manage employee files, inventory, payroll in Kronos, and EPIC bed tracking
  • Have excellent organization, communication and project management skills
  • Exhibit the ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility
  • Have clerical, filing and office management experience
  • Have project management experience
  • Have experience delivering excellent Customer Service and workplace professionalism
  • Have the ability to communicate with key stakeholders and meet established timelines.

What You Bring

Encompass organizational and administrative functions as well as project oriented activities to support the leadership team. This position will often be involved in confidential matters. Preferred candidates will have office management experience, preferably in Environmental Services, Housekeeping and/or Custodial Services, and excellent customer service skills.
