Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Regional Operations Support Manager based at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. In this role you will work mostly Monday-Friday, but will need the flexibility to work as the manager on duty every third weekend. In this role you will assist with patient meal experience in this 400+ bed hospital as well as retail and catering preparation as needed.

This position can last up to 18 months with potential to transition into a permanent position. This position comes with benefits.

What You'll Do

  • supervise and effectively lead a team of frontline associates
  • provide shift coverage when needed
  • implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, catering, and patient services
  • be responsible for ongoing and annual food and physical safety training for hourly associates
  • conduct audits and creates action plans based on audit findings

What You Bring

  • experience in a food production setting, healthcare environment would be a plus

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services, CTM, or Clinical Nutrition
