We are seeking a General Manager of Environmental Services for a growing healthcare account in Lumberton, NC overseeing a team of 80 at multiple locations. UNC Health Southeastern, part of the UNC Health System, has over 300 licensed beds and 30+ outer buildings. This Director will oversee Environmental Services operations at the main hospital and outer buildings that is part of UNC Southeastern. This person is a trusted advisor central to the client partnership and key to delivering results that meet client needs. The role will have direct accountability for operational excellence - achieved by delivering on our contractual obligations and our service commitments that are: Predictable, Reliable, and Repeatable. The lead candidate should have experience in Environmental Services, strong financial acumen, talent management, communication skills and front-line leadership, in addition to a demonstrated track record of developing strong client relationships.

What You'll Do

  • be a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a healthcare housekeeping system;
  • have experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment is preferred;
  • can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading hospital committees and change management;
  • are results and safety driven;
  • have in-depth knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures;
  • have experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance to HCAHPS, local, state and Joint Commission standards;
  • have 5+ years previous custodial / housekeeping or similar management experience, in a hospital or hotel; healthcare experience preferred
