What You'll Do

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the largest Student Dining Hall on campus, serving from 5,000 - 6,000 meals a day
• Ensure dining stations are full, presentation, temps, safety are maintained
• Manage supervisors and 30 Union Employees - training, scheduling, payroll, safety
• Ensure a welcoming environment for students
• create a positive working and dining environment; and ensure Sodexo standards are maintained

What You Bring

• 2 - 4 years High volume Campus Dining experience from a large university, HBCU background a plus
• Strong employee engagement leadership skills and a passion for customer service
• Experience with hiring, training, developing a large food service staff - Union experience a plus
• Some culinary experience, understanding of Dietary Restrictions / Options
• Manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
