Food Service Manager 3

Reporting to an Operations Manager, this Food Services Manager will oversee various food retail venues, support the marketing team with marketing and execution of weekly events/specials, Limited time offers, and engaging with the students to create a welcoming dining experience.

What You'll Do

• Manage supervisors and employees - training, scheduling, payroll, safety;
• Ensure a welcoming environment for students, be out on the floor during peak meal times;
• Create a positive working and dining environment; and ensure Sodexo standards are maintained; and
• Create welcoming environment, offering special events/theme nights/ Daily Specials/Limited time offers.

What You Bring

• 2 - 4 years High volume Campus Dining experience from a large university;
• Strong employee engagement and a passion for customer service;
• Experience with hiring, training, developing a large food service staff;
• Understanding of foor retail and branded concepts and how to develop marketing ideas; and
• Manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
