Sodexo is seeking a passionate leader for a Food Service Manager 2 at Penn State Health's flagship 628-bed medical center, Penn State Health - Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Hershey Medical Center is central Pennsylvania's only locally based academic medical center. A Magnet-designated hospital since 2007. Provides high-level, patient-focused medical care. The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is the only medical facility in Pennsylvania to be accredited as a Level 1 trauma center for both children and adults. Hershey Medical Center shares its Hershey campus with Penn State Health Children's Hospital, Penn State Cancer Institute and Penn State College of Medicine.

The Food Service Manager 2 will have oversight for patient services with direct management all patient services operations, health touch platform and Experiencia implementation. Room service model with traditional patient meal delivery. We are the flagship for the Penn State Health System implementing and driving test pilot for menu and patient service development. We are a leader in cultivating spirit of inclusion and client partnership. This position is 11 am - 7:30 pm every other weekend and holiday.
What You'll Do
- Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
- Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
- Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
- Performs gold check audits and prepares reports.
- Create interpersonal relationships with key clients in hospital.

- demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC), Sodexo Menu Graphics (SMG), Catetrax and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Minimum Management Experience - 1 year
