Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 to join our team at the Camp Lejeune - US Marine Corps Location at Mess Hall 303. Mess Hall 303 is a unique mess hall that is one of the last mess halls to have a collaboration and mixture of Marine Cooks and Sodexo/Subcontractor employees managed by this position. Mess Hall 303 feeds approximately 4500 - 7500 meals per week. Mess Hall 303 is located at 303 Barker Rd. Camp Lejeune, NC 28547

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the food service program at a long-standing Govt contracts Mess Hall and
    Has impeccable attention to detail within a food establishment.
  • Deliver on tight budgetary confines and understands the importance of full food management contract execution.
  • Handle multiple challenges of contract management
  • Promotes and mentors his/her team to excellence
  • Create a positive environment
  • Ensure Sodexo Standards are met

What You Bring

  • Has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
  • understanding of safe food handling practices, qualities, and standards (e.g. HACCP forms, temperature logs, safety audits, inventory management, etc.)
