Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Production Manager - 3 to join our Government Services team at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. The Production Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of all culinary operations for one of it's Mess Halls.

Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, the Corps' largest West Coast expeditionary training facility, encompasses more than 125,000 acres of Southern California terrain. The successful candidate will:
- Have 3-5 years operational management experience in a high-volume food service dining environment.
- Be a people person with a strong focus with maintaining positive client relations; a solid manager/leader who is perceptive and has attention to details that make a difference - quality and presentation of food - customer service -
- Be SERVICE focused- including providing excellent customer service in a welcoming dining environment.
- Be proficient in use of online Food Management Systems for menu/recipe planning, ordering and inventory;
- Demonstrate proven financial acumen/success: Food costs/ labor costs, budgets.

- prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
