Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager - Patient Services at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE. The Patient Services Manager will direct and manage the evening Patient Feeding operations and lead, mentor and develop a team of frontline staff. This strategic Food Operations Manager will report to the Patient Services Director and will join a team of additional operational leaders.

Schedule is primarily Monday-Friday / 6am-3:30pm with weekend rotation once every 1-2 months.

The successful candidate will:

  • lead the daily operations of patient room service dining program
  • coordinate the department's safety programs
  • ensure operating standards meet and exceed benchmarks
  • manage, schedule and train frontline team and supervisors

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • a proven background as a collaborative leader in a commercial healthcare kitchen environment (seniors, hospitals, healthcare, etc.)
  • natural ability to build teams and foster engagement
  • a background as a Registered Dietitian (RD), Dietetic Technician, and/or Certified Dietary Manager is a plus, but not required

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
