We are seeking a talented individual who will commit to the challenges of creating and delivering a operational-culinary-driven experience. This is a hands-on OPS role requiring previous experience managing upscale food production, with retail & fine dining menu knowledge. This is a highly visible position and will interface with the residents and clients on a daily basis. The right candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be a champion for their employees and staff. Typical schedule is M-F 9:30-6:00 pm with the ability to rotate weekends and holidays.

The successful candidate will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day dining operations for the Independent Living residents;
  • ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved;
  • interface closely and daily with residents;
  • provides stellar customer service;
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

  • food production experience in either a senior living or healthcare setting;
  • a certified dietary manager (CDM) certificate or the willingness to obtain within 1st year of employment;
  • hands on skills with inventory management and ordering;
  • strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop employees;
  • working knowledge of HACCP protocols for regulatory compliance;
  • the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
