Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 for Yale New Haven Health-York Street in New Haven, CT.
Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) is a 1,541-bed hospital located in New Haven, CT. It is the second-largest hospital in the United States and one of the largest in the world. It is the primary teaching hospital for the Yale School of Medicine and Nursing. YNHH has 1,000 patient beds on their main campus, including the 160-bed Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven, the 200-bed Yale Children's Hospital, and the 76-bed Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital.

The New Haven Cafe is our direct client facing dining solution - physically located across the hall from senior leaders. This cafe offers a Peet's Coffee dining solution as well as pizza, deli, global entree selections, salad bar and an array of grab and go choices.
What You'll Do
- will manage a team of 20 union employees
- will be responsible for all food operations at our New Haven Cafe, located in the clinic building
- will support the other retail locations as needed
- will be responsible for elevating our dining selections, customer services with the end result of being a self-sufficient operation

What You Bring
- food operations experience in a hospital;
- knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets;
- experience with oversight of diet offices; and/or
- strong management skills;
- prior union management;
- prior client relations;
- prior retail operations;
- excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies;
- passion for our patients and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
