What You'll Do

This opportunity is for the Lead Unit Manager in our largest resident dining location on the campus of Binghamton University servicing over 5,500 student transactions daily. Open daily, this facility operates 9 food platforms including the Campus Kosher facility, An allergen friendly platform as well as a Halal featured platform. This unit also operates one of two night services operations on campus. The facility is supported by an Executive chef, Service manager, multiple lead/supervisors and an hourly staff. This position has full responsibility over the operation.

What You Bring

  • High-volume campus/university retail food operations management experience.
  • Experience with:
    • Training and leading other salaried managers and hourly staff.
    • Multi-unit quick service or food court operations.
    • Driving sales and controlling costs.
    • Ordering and inventory.
    • Food and physical safety programs, and Bd of Health requirements.
    • Heavy volume cash handling.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
